Music: A Gift for Life; How to Unlock the Treasure Chest of Music for Future Generations

The good news is that access to music has never been better; thanks to the internet, most of us are musical billionaires! The bad news is that many people don't know how to use these treasures. This course is designed to show you how to teach pupils to use the contents of the treasure chest. It represents a revolution in what used to be called ‘musical appreciation,’ and a break-through in the teaching of listening skills to singers and instrumentalists. Based on the work of the conductor and researcher, Christopher Gayford, the course will give you a new understanding of listening and how to teach it.
