Leading more able in your school: how to get started on policy and provision
This session will explore the importance of schools paying close attention to the needs of the more able and the resultant impact on outcomes and culture. We will explore and provide practical support for key aspects of your role in leading more able provision across the school, supporting others in identifying the more able, understanding their needs and addressing these effectively. We will investigate what a more able policy looks like and practical support for this will be explored. Consideration will then be given to the processes required to translate the policy into highly effective provision across the school including the importance of creating a culture of challenge for all.
