Increase your knowledge in the area of discrimination law and the obligations a school has for disabled pupils.  This course will consider the legal issues and specifically adjusting for disabled pupils.  We will look at admissions and exculusions; the steps to take in considering whether to admit (including the scenario where there is an EHC plan in place) and risk area.  Also, the steps a school might consider if they believe they can no longer cater for a child's educational needs.  Delegates will participate in interactive case studies, including what steps a parent can take if they allege discrimination.
