When does it take place?
The Cricket competitions take place in the Summer term.
Booking open
For events in the Autumn term, bookings will open during the Summer term preceding it.
For events in the Spring term, bookings will open during the Autumn term.
For events in the Summer term, bookings will open during the Spring term.
Age groups
The U11 event is a series of festivals.
The U13 event is a knockout competition culminating in a finals day at St Peter's 8-13 (York) in June.

Eligibility
Pupils can only take part in one age group throughout the whole competition.
Umpiring at IAPS events
Qualifiers
Schools must provide a competent and confident umpire, unless otherwise advised.
Finals
At all finals, where possible, neutral umpires will be provided.
Schools should be prepared to provide an umpire for the finals.
Competitor details
Once you have booked, you will be asked to provide some details about your competitors before the event. In line with GDPR, only essential information is collected in order to be able to organise the sports event.
Festival format
Eight-a-side cricket.
Squads of a maximum of ten players.
All festivals will be played following the junior cricket formats guidelines set out by the ECB, available to view here.
Umpires
Each competing school shall provide a suitable umpire. The umpire must not be a parent, it must be a member of school staff.
Competitor details
Once you have booked on, you will be asked to provide some details about your competitors before the event. In line with GDPR, only essential information is collected in order to be able to organise the sports event.

Cost of entry: £60 per team

This tournament is a knockout competition, culminating in a finals day in June.

Cricket equipment
The school drawn at home will supply two identical match balls.
Ball weight 4¾ oz and one ball is to be used per innings.
Balls will be provided for the semi-finals and final.
