IAPS recommends that its members join a union which supports Headteachers in their professional role. This is not compulsory to gain or retain membership of IAPS.

ASCL - Association of School and College Leaders

Members of IAPS are offered a discounted rate for the NAHT on an annual ongoing basis (as detailed in the subscriptions information), ASCL also frequently offer a range of discounts to new members joining them.
