A programme of entertaining and thought-provoking educational and motivational speakers has been assembled to address the 2023 IAPS Conference, which member Heads can now book to attend. With names as respected and diverse as venerated education expert Professor Dr Ger Graus OBE, Ben Edmonds, principal designer at technology engineering giant Dyson, cartoonist Sarah Horrocks and self-styled ‘agent for change’ The Scary Guy, Conference promises to be a varied, lively and extremely engaging experience.

IAPS Chair Andrew Nott noted: "This is our annual opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of colleagues, to be inspired and educated by speakers and to build new connections in our sector."

William Goldsmith, Conference Director and Head at St George's Windsor, added: "The theme, 'Venture Out', is particularly salient as we grapple with the opportunities and challenges of the next two to three years.

"A meeting of minds between the fellowship of IAPS Heads has never been more important. With so much to gain clarity on, I hope we can come together with the aim to venture out with purpose and confidence as we lead our schools and sector through the next few years."

As well as hearing from some exceptional speakers, this year's Conference will also provide the opportunity for members to meet and hear from IAPS' new CEO, Dominic Norrish, who joins in the summer.

Dominic said: “I am enormously pleased to be joining hundreds of IAPS Heads at the  Conference in Liverpool and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible. I am determined that the Association continues to develop in the service of its members, and your views on any aspect of its work are very welcome.”
