Sport and Pupil Experience Administrator

About the role

Join our dynamic Sport and Pupil Experience team, where we deliver high-quality sports competitions and extracurricular events to over 650 member schools across the UK and internationally.  

Working closely with the Head of Sport and Pupil Experience and the Sport and Pupil Experience Manager, you will be at the forefront of event delivery, providing invaluable support and assistance. 

As a Sport and Pupil Experience Administrator, you will dive into a fast-paced role, providing crucial organisational support to our programmes. An interest in sports and a grasp of competition logistics are a key asset for this position. 

Your responsibilities will include organising event paperwork, creating and monitoring event delivery plans, and managing entries and bookings through our CRM system. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities as you interact with a wide array of individuals, ensuring everything runs smoothly. 

This role offers the chance to contribute to the seamless coordination and execution of our programmes, ensuring that our member schools, staff, and pupils receive nothing short of excellence.  

This role is a full-time post and occasional travel and weekend work will be required to ensure the smooth delivery of events and to support schools and the team effectively. 

For those eager to engage more directly with our members, there is opportunity to attend events on a more regular basis, otherwise this role can predominantly be based in the office and working from home.

About you

IAPS is seeking an administrator who, among other qualities, can demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. 

  • Thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 

  • Passionate about working with schools and delivering exceptional service. 

  • Proficient in administration, with advanced IT skills, including data manipulation. 

  • Capable of multitasking and problem-solving under pressure to meet tight deadlines. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service. 

  • Eagerness to support sports and co-curricular events for children. 

  • Enthusiastic about learning the intricacies of sports competitions and event scheduling. 

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and problem-solve. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. 

  • Driven and eager to acquire new skills, with a positive approach to work.

What we offer

Salary: £22,500 – £24,000 per annum
