History : Teaching without trepidation - dealing with sensitive and difficult histories
This course is for anyone with an interest in the past, and for anyone who has ever spent time wondering how to teach a historically sensitive topic. This course aims to explore several areas of history curricula that may be thought of as sensitive. The objective is to explore the main hazards, core subject knowledge involved and proposes some strategies to assist the thoughtful classroom practitioner.
