Religious Studies: A practical guide to support your teaching of Islam, Hinduism and Judaism
The course will focus on equiping you with the subject knowledge that you need to plan and teach with lessons with confidence, introducing essential vocabulary and concepts within each worldview tradition and looking at examples of how these worldviews are lived out today. Moreover, it offers knowledge-rich learning strategies and resources to bring these worldviews to life in the classroom, ways of examining these worldviews through ways of knowing such as theology, philosophy and sociology and opportunities to ask questions about areas you may find tricky or need advice.
