Founded in 1946, we are a thriving prep school. King’s House provides a happy and relaxed environment for our pupils, where the boys and girls thrive and flourish. We offer a broad and balanced education to all our pupils, enabling them to discover their unique talents and passions. 

Pupils are cherished as individuals and provided with the skills and mental resilience to succeed in whatever path they choose in life. Pupils move on to a wide range of top day and boarding senior schools at 13.

King’s House Nursery is an oasis of warmth and laughter with an abundance of resources to inspire little minds and create a love for learning. Nestled in the Alberts, in the heart of the community, we are an educational nursery where boys and girls become happy, confident and thoughtful children who respect each other and the wonderful surroundings they share. Each child is taught and supported by a highly experienced team of staff who wants the best for your child and strives to ensure they flourish and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. The nursery prepares its pupils for their journey through King's House and their for their future schools, who we enjoy good relationships with to make the transition a very smooth process.
