History: skills, progression and attainment in history - the national curriculum, common entrance and beyond!
The first part of the course undertaken by TT Education, will examine progression of skills within the National Curriculum and how to design a relevant and purposeful history curriculum that is right for your school. It will also explore how to better implement cross-curricular approaches to the subject and understand what ‘greater depth’ looks like in History.
Later in the course, members will be able to better understand the changes to the Common Entrance History exam (this section will be provided by the ISEB) as well as the corresponding syllabus. The rationale behind these changes will be outlined and there will be opportunities for questions too.
Finally, delegates will also be able to explore resources from the publisher Galore Park publishing company which would help aid the delivery of this syllabus.
