Mental Health First Aid (Youth two day training)

5 – 6 June 2025 Subject Edge Grove School, Radlett, Watford, WD25 8NL

The need for schools and those working within them to be aware of the signs and symptoms in young people who are having challenges surrounding their mental health fitness has never been greater. With the notion of ‘resource rather than recovery’ delegates will also learn about how to embed resilience in schools and what a mentally healthy school looks like in practice. The course is delivered by a highly experienced MHFA Instructor who has trained over 500 prep staff.

This MHFA 2 day qualification provides delegates with an MHFA action plan and takes an in depth consideration of topics such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self harm, stigma and suicide. The course also offers the opportunity to understand which support agencies exist for schools and how to signpost pupils and parents to such areas of support.

This will be an updated Youth MHFA 2 day course and as such very valuable as those having trained previously will have an outdated qualification.
