About us

St John’s Beaumont is a co-educational preparatory day and boarding school for boys and girls. St John’s provides  preparatory education for boys aged between 3-13 and, since September 2023, the school has welcomed girls into Pre-Prep.

Set in 75 acres of woodland and fields on the Berkshire-Surrey border, St John’s is conveniently located close to Windsor, Egham and Virgina Water, easily accessible to London’s Heathrow airport. Only 40 minutes from West London, St John’s offers an education experience far removed from the constraints of central London.

The curriculum, underpinned by both a Jesuit ethos and High Performance Learning approach to teaching and learning, gives pupils every opportunity to succeed. The broad curriculum, which is delivered by dedicated and experienced teachers, is complemented by a rich and varied sport and co-curricular programme, ranging from swimming, rugby, cricket and football to drama, forest school, cooking and dancing. 

Pupils are prepared for some of the top public schools in the country and the school has won many scholarships in recent years. A successful boarding community offers an opportunity to develop a sense of confidence, independence, tolerance, friendship and respect for others.
