Senior Leader Associate Membership is designed to provide more targeted support for the Senior Leaders working within IAPS member schools. It is open to anyone in a school's Senior Leadership Team, is free for at least the first two years and the cost will be kept nominal after that.
The development followed feedback from Heads and the wider membership and reflects IAPS’ commitment to supporting the next generation of exceptional school leaders. The only proviso is that the school's Head must be in current membership of IAPS and be willing to endorse their Senior Leaders' applications.
The initiative aims to strengthen the IAPS community and ensure that talented Senior Leaders in member schools receive support, to be both effective in their current roles and to pursue school leadership, should that be their goal.
Senior Leader Associate Members gain access to tailored networking opportunities, coaching and professional development, and a weekly prep-focused news update — all designed to help them thrive in their roles.
Eligibility is open to Senior Leaders within IAPS schools who hold significant responsibilities within the Junior or Primary phase — such as Deputies, Assistant Heads, SENDCos, or Heads of Year/ Phase with SLT responsibility — with the endorsement of their Head. The application process is straightforward and designed to be as inclusive as possible.
