IAPS Annual Conference 2025

17 – 19 September 2025 Conference The Brighton Centre, BN1 2GR

Building on the success of last year’s event, we are planning an even better programme for Annual Conference 2025, affording you the chance to find and offer support to fellow Heads away from the daily challenges of running your school.

We have listened carefully to your feedback and are planning a similar programme of events, but with a more relaxed feel. There will again be inspiring keynotes, mixed in with a range of seminars and discussions, and increased scope for you to explore issues specific to your context with Heads running schools of similar types. Most importantly, there will be opportunities to spend time and socialise with each other. This year after the success of the Festival, you will not need to book your seminars ahead of time and you will be able to choose what you fancy on the day.

The cost of your ticket includes admission to all three Conference days, food and, of course, the Conference dinner on the evening of Thursday 18 September, which will this year take place in the superb surroundings of the world-famous Grand Hotel, adjacent to The Brighton Centre.

Please note that, unlike 2024, you will need to book your hotel accommodation separately. We have secured accommodation in a range of hotels within easy walking distance of both the Conference venue and The Grand Hotel and recommend you book your room at the same time as buying your Conference ticket to avoid disappointment. Rooms are being held under the IAPS name for a limited period, and we cannot therefore guarantee accommodation will be available after this.

International schools
We are once again able to offer an International Day to precede the conference, taking place on Tuesday 16 September. This will be generously hosted by Brighton College, meaning you will be right on the doorstep for the Conference itself.

Delegates can arrive throughout the morning, before enjoying lunch and an afternoon of sessions focused on issues relevant to prep schools operating abroad. The day’s content is being finalised with our international District representatives and Brighton College.
