Newland House School
Newland House School is an IAPS for boys and girls aged 4 to 13 in Twickenham, Middlesex. In September 2016, the school will be relocating the Pre-Prep into brand new premises immediately next door to the Prep school and will move to three forms in Reception from 2016 onwards. The design for the new Pre-Prep achieves the key features of BREEAM excellence and will offer pupils an innovative, ergonomic and sustainable learning environment.
At Newland House we believe in equal opportunities for all the children in the school, irrespective of social background, culture, race, gender or ability. The School aims is to provide a curriculum that is broad and balanced and covers the academic, artistic and physical elements so crucial for the development of the complete child. We are determined to create high standards of learning for all the children in a caring and supportive environment. We hope to promote enquiring minds and build on pupils’ strengths, interests and experiences so that every pupil is valued for the talents and beliefs he or she brings to the school.
Newland House School provides a happy, friendly environment that enables children to thrive. They enjoy coming to school and value that sense of belonging, which binds a strong, caring community. Each pupil, though very much an individual, learns to take responsibility for helping others. All are encouraged to involve themselves fully in the many and varied activities on offer. We are enormously proud of their achievements in so many different areas but one of the greatest pleasures is to see how much they value and support each other’s successes. A successful education involves a partnership between pupil, parents and teachers and we consider the links between home and school to be of crucial importance.
