Assessment in the EYFS and Years 1 and 2
This day course will focus on the assessment of young children from 6 months to the close of Year 2. We will look at summative and formative assessment across the EYFS and Key Stage 1. Tools for supporting the assessment of all EYFS and Key Stage 1 children will be shared, discussed, and demonstrated. Delegates will have access to trialled and tested continuums to use back in member schools. We will also look at the role of assessment in inspection, particularly in the EYFS Lead interviews.
