Executive Leader Associate Membership is designed to provide targeted support for Executive Leaders working within a wider leadership structure alongside an IAPS Full Member, such as those with whole-school, through-school or multi-school responsibility.
It is open to senior colleagues whose roles extend beyond a single prep or junior phase and is free for the first two years, with only a nominal fee introduced thereafter.
The development of this membership category followed consultation with Principals, Executive Leaders and the wider IAPS membership, reflecting our commitment to recognising the evolving and increasingly complex nature of executive school leadership. The only proviso is that the school’s prep or junior provision continues to be led by an IAPS Full Member.
This membership pathway is intended to strengthen the IAPS community by ensuring that Executive Leaders remain closely connected to the Association and supported in their strategic responsibilities, whilst acknowledging the broader scope of their leadership and oversight.
Executive Leader Associate Members gain access to a dedicated network of fellow executive school leaders, professional learning opportunities and other membership benefits, alongside tailored communications and networking designed for leaders with wider remits.
Executive Leader Associate Membership does not confer voting rights or eligibility to attend District meetings, which remain reserved for Full Members.
