Responding to the DfE's SEND consultation

20 March 2026 12.30pm – 1.30pm Leadership Online

Following the recent publication of the SEND reform proposals, this webinar for Member Heads, Governors, SENDCos and any other interested members of school staff will explore how and why you should respond to the government's consultation.

IAPS SEND consultant Katharine Sharpe will be joined by Head of Professional Development Katherine Bluck for the session, which will be recorded.

The consultation on the government’s SEND document, ‘Putting Children and Young People First’, is open until Monday 18 May and contains many questions which parents, schools and other interested parties are invited to respond to.  We are keen for all member schools to participate in the consultation and for the parents of the children affected by the proposals to also give their views.

You can register to attend this session here.
