A series of reports by IAPS and ITN Productions highlighting the impact of Covid-19 on four prep schools
IAPS and ITN Productions Industry News have co-produced a fast-turnaround series of reports highlighting the impact of Covid-19 on four of the UK’s prep schools and the rapid measures introduced in order to adapt to the lockdown legislation and restrictions.
At the end of March, the way students learn and the way they are taught changed dramatically. As the government announced the closure of schools across the country, teachers were challenged with finding new ways of digitalising teaching and school facilities as education moved online.
“IAPS Covid-19 Response Series” explores how four leading prep schools adapted their teaching methods in response to the pandemic crisis whilst maintaining the highest quality teaching standards and pastoral care. The series also examines the impact remote learning has had on pupils, parents, teachers and the wider community; highlights the innovative solutions delivering alternative curriculums to keep children engaged and investigates what the future might look like for UK prep schools in a new pandemic-informed world. The IAPS Covid-19 Response Series will form part of a wider “Prepping for the Future” campaign with two further series launching on 12 October 2020 and Spring 2021.
