National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are externally recognised and accredited programmes designed to help teachers and school leaders develop their expertise, progress their careers and improve outcomes for pupils.
As a benefit of your membership, IAPS covers part of the cost for each participant, helping to make these high-quality leadership programmes more accessible to member schools.
We currently offer two nationally-recognised qualifications:

NPQ for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) – for experienced leaders looking to broaden their strategic leadership skills.

National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) – for those preparing for or aspiring to Headship.
