New member events and executive support from IAPS

As a new member, you will receive an invitation to our annual New Members Conference, the cost of which is covered within your first year's membership.

This event features a wide range of speakers and exhibitors and provides an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with other Heads who are new to IAPS. You should be invited soon after your membership is ratified by the IAPS Board. For more information contact our Professional Development team.  

You will be invited to a one-to-one meeting with either the Chair of IAPS Tania Botting or our Chief Executive, Emilie Darwin during your first term of membership. This is a valued opportunity for them to get to know you personally and to offer their support as you begin your journey within the IAPS community.  

We recognise that starting as a new Head can bring its own challenges, and we strongly encourage you to attend our termly new member drop-in sessions, chaired by Tania, herself an experienced former Head, and provide a supportive space to share experiences, discuss challenges, and benefit from best practice and peer support as you grow into your role.
