Independent Schools Council SEND Conference in association with IAPS
The Independent Schools SEND Conference is returning for 2026, and promises to be a day of engaging keynotes, inspiring seminars and excellent opportunities for professional dialogue, collaboration and networking. This prestigious conference is designed for SENDCos, Leaders of Learning Support and all educators who want to deepen their understanding of the evolving SEND landscape across the sector.
The first keynote will focus on Inclusive Teaching, and delegates will explore how they can transform outcomes for every learner while reducing unnecessary workload for staff. Delegates will walk away with practical, low-effort, high-impact strategies and evidence-informed approaches that can be implemented at school.
The second keynote will look at Demand Avoidance and Psychological Safety, where delegates will leave with a sharper understanding of the children they're trying to reach, things to try tomorrow, and a session they can take back to school.
The seminar programme covers topics such as assistive technology, emotional regulation and navigating SEND and the Law. Delegates will gain valuable insights into the changes set to impact SEND provision, while exploring effective strategies to strengthen and develop support for pupils within their own settings from EYFS to KS4. In addition, delegates will have the chance to engage with a wide range of specialist organisations showcasing innovative products, services, and resources through the conference exhibition.
